- Luke Stanton Carpentry is a family run business with over 20 years of experience specialising in the restoration of traditional sash windows.
We pride ourselves on completing thorough, sympathetic and eco-friendly restorations, using traditional methods.

Luke Stanton is an award winning carpenter who offers a fully comprehensive service using only the best materials and completes all his work to a very high standard.
When working on sash windows he replaces all rotten timber using hardwood splices, reconditions timber and paintwork, re-balances weights, replaces glass (with slim double glazing where requested and possible), installs draft seals and new locks. If required he can also replace the entire window to match the existing or in a new style if desired.
Luke uses Linseed oil paint and putty which is not only natural and eco friendly, it also rejuvenates the original wood and increases the longevity of the restoration work.
Luke has a wealth of experience that includes reproducing period features and working in conservation areas.
Luke will use his expertise to give impartial free advice specific to your needs and offers highly competitive rates.
Luke Stanton achieved distinctions throughout his level 3 GNVQ City and Guilds Carpentry apprenticeship. He was presented with the ‘Targetfollow Award for Outstanding Apprentice’ in 2006 highlighting his exceptional work.
