- Demesne Farmhouse is situated on the Solway coast and has fabulous views across the marsh, we are on a daily working farm so lots of salt marsh sheep and cattle on our doorstep. The area has a wealth of places to visit in Cumbria , we are not far from the Lake District and all the amenities it has to offer.On our Estate there are wonderful walks and many places to cycle, there are also areas for fishing and shooting nearby and a haven for birdwatchers.
